Key Responsibilities
Install new elevators, escalators, and lifts according to manufacturer specifications and safety codes.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance testing.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Perform repairs and replace defective parts to restore safe operation.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for compliance.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Communicate effectively with building owners, managers, and team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical/electrical fields.
Proven experience as an elevator technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electronics, and computerized controls.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment.
Valid trade license or certification (where applicable).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
