JOB DESCRIPTION
Install marine elevator systems on vessels (cargo ships, cruise liners, naval vessels) and offshore platforms Perform routine and preventive maintenance of elevators in accordance with OEM recommendations and class society regulations Align and secure mechanical components to ensure shock resistance and sea worthiness. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and control system interfaces. Address emergency callouts during drydock, voyage, or offshore operations. Modify or retrofit outdated elevator systems to meet new compliance standards. Knowledge in PLC is a added advantage
REQUIRED SKILLS
A minimum of 5-year experience as an elevator technician Excellent knowledge about elevator controls, Understanding of specialized marine elevator types: personnel lifts, dumbwaiters, cargo elevators, etc. Troubleshooting motors, relays, sensors, wiring, and control systems. Maintenance using marine-grade components and corrosion-resistant materials. Identifying operational hazards on ships or offshore platforms. Ensuring all installations and repairs meet exacting technical standards. Quickly diagnosing faults under high-pressure or time-sensitive conditions.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
