Job Description
The Elevator Technician - Erection & Commissioning is responsible for the installation, alignment, wiring, testing, and commissioning of elevators, escalators, and vertical transportation systems at project sites. The technician ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with manufacturer specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute
elevator and escalator installation
from base to final handover in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. Assemble and align elevator components includingguide rails, motor, cabin, doors, shaft structures, and safety mechanisms
. Performmechanical and electrical wiring
, termination, and system integration. Carry outcommissioning procedures
, system testing, safety checks, and adjustments to ensure proper functioning. Coordinate withcivil and MEP teams
to ensure site readiness and resolve interface issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during erection and commissioning. Ensure alltools, equipment, and lifting devices
are used safely and correctly. Complete daily site reports, checklists, and commissioning documentation. Comply with localsafety standards
, quality procedures, and company policies. Assist in training junior technicians and supporting third-party inspections when required.Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/ITI
in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.2-5 years of experience
in elevator/escalator erection and commissioning (preferably with OEM or authorized installer). Strong knowledge ofelevator control panels, drive systems, safety devices, and wiring diagrams
. Familiar withEN81
, local codes, and safety procedures. Ability to work at heights and in construction environments. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Strong documentation and communication skills.Work Conditions:
Site-based role, may require travel and extended hours based on project demands. Must comply with all
PPE requirements
and HSE protocols at the job site.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
License/Certification:
* UAE Driving License (Preferred)
