An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join the Engineering department at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait, and be responsible for maintaining electrical works in the Hotel.

Main Duties:

Checking and rectifying all lights reflecting the standard of the Hotel.

Ensure all portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix.

Ensure all the work order, PPM & CWA's are executed and maintenance works as directed by the team leaders.

To select correct material from engineering store and request for purchase for new items through the store keeper.

To organize work in a skilled and professional manner.

To advise supervisor promptly of any problem or challenges.

To ensure safe working condition for self, colleagues and property and report any unsafe working condition.

To ensure the work area are left in a safe and tidy condition.

Read and understand basic drawings.

Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.

Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management. About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Electrical Technician in a hospitality environment.

Knowledge in various trades experience would be an added value.

Engineering certificate in related fields. At least 1 year formal training (certified).

Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system.
