We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Electrical Site Manager

to lead the execution of a 400/220 kV GIS Substation project under TAQA. The ideal candidate will oversee all electrical site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

What will you do?

Manage and supervise all electrical construction activities on-site. Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and client representatives. Ensure timely execution of electrical works including GIS installation, power transformers, control panels, cable laying, and testing & commissioning. Review electrical drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports. Ensure compliance with TAQA standards and specifications. Lead site inspections and resolve technical issues. Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and quality standards.

Experience and Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Minimum

12 + years

of experience in substation projects, with at least

7 years in 400/220 kV GIS substations

. Proven experience working on TAQA / DEWA or similar utility projects in the GCC. Strong knowledge of IEC standards, protection systems, and SCADA integration. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. PMP certificate is a plus
