Site Manager - Substations
Job Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of high voltage substation construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, electricians, and laborers, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with DEWA regulations, local laws, and safety standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Coordination: Liaise with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting challenges and proposed solutions.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Problem Solving: Address any on-site issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in managing high voltage substation projects, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• DEWA Approval: Valid DEWA approval for site management of high voltage projects.
• Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
