Job summary
The Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.
- Competent to perform installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of products on site and provide necessary corrective action.
- Ready to travel on call for both local and international locations.
- Perform projects/jobs, which includes upgrading and/or installing products, Investigate reported product problems and initiate corrective action following through on the corrective action required.
- Provide information and support all customers with equipment problems.
- Perform any other work-related task as required as assigned.
- Comply with all SLB Company and HSE procedures and policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Oil & Gas or Marine sector.
- Knowledge of drilling rig equipment/operations.
- Knowledge in Inspection, Measuring Instrument, Basic Computer knowledge in MS Office.
- Exposure to PLC preferred - read and write programs.
- Good report writing and communication skills, Able to read and interpret drawings, diagrams.
