1.0 JOB DESCRIPTION 1.1 Vedanta safety standards implementation. 1.2 Ensure the availability of the equipment as per the production plan / Business plan. 1.3 Improve MTBF, MTTR, RCA of equipment\xe2\x80\x99s. 1.4 Skill & Knowledge of Standards / SOPs / KIPs. 2.0 JOB ROLE 2.1 Execution of maintenance activities (PMI, Inspection, Breakdowns and Scheduled maintenance). 2.2 Handling overall responsibility of Maintenance activities including arranging resources like manpower & materials required as per plant requirements of CCR, Refineries & PMB, ACP, CCPC & CCPP and Utilities. 2.3 Planning and executing time based Annual/Half yearly/Quarterly Plant Shutdown including procurement of spares, consumables, tools & tackles and extra manpower required. 2.4 Implementing HSE policies of client and MEIPL \xe2\x80\x9cZero Injuries\xe2\x80\x9d for employees while performing day to day activities. Maintaining required PPEs and ensuring usage of PPEs for ensuring safety of all the personnel working in the plant. 2.5 Taking ownership and implementing Vedanta\xe2\x80\x99s Asset Optimization modules like PM, CBM, RCA, Condition appraisal, RCM, Asset Life Cycle, process optimization & Quality etc. 2.6 Driving continuous improvements and innovation through implementation of FIPs, SGAs, Kaizen etc. 2.7 To monitor Scorecard for plant performances, ensure compliances and improve KPIs as per the client requirement. 2.8 Working to measure and improve OEE of the various plants and critical equipment. Also guiding the team to reduce MTTR and improve MTBF. 2.9 Identifying and preparing proposals for plant maintenance related manpower optimization. Manpower management ensures manpower distribution as per shift requirement to all maintenance departments. 2.10 Managing 24X7 Operations (3 Shifts of 8 Hrs.) by ensuring smooth maintenance of the various plants including implementing schedules of manpower for Electrical departments. 2.11 To assist the Site Manager and the client to ensure smooth functioning of the Contract w.r.t manpower, timelines and other terms and conditions. 2.12 Promoting and implementation of 5S in various plants and workshops for improving housekeeping of the working areas. 2.13 Handling emergencies and exigencies of the plant including deputation of manpower and resources to ensure smooth functioning of Operation and Maintenance. 2.14 Ensuring statutory compliances and maintaining needful documents as per client and company requirement. 2.15 Developing MIPs and workforce by arranging skill mapping to identify the gaps and arranging training as per requirements.1.1 Managing conflicts for better relationships with the client, MIPs and employees. Also keeping regular interaction, feedback mechanism, and engagement to motivate the employees for better productivity, retention and discipline. 1.2 Promptly arranging/taking decisions or doing any other works as per situational requirement of the sites assigned by the company management. 2.0 Competency / Requirements 2.1 Technical 2.1.1 Cross functional team management experience. 2.1.2 Display expertise in trouble shooting, use CBM techniques, Preventive, Proactive and breakdown maintenance. 2.1.3 Planning experience of man, machine, and materials for the break down/ shut down management. 2.1.4 Exposure to problems solving techniques. 2.1.5 Analyzing skills of variances, deviations and causes & effects. 2.1.6 Graduation in electrical engineering with around 10 - 15 years of similar industry experience. 2.2 Functional 2.2.1 Knowledge about standards of M/s Vedanta. 2.2.2 Maintenance Planning. 2.2.3 Knowledge of 5S, KAIZEN, TPM, SGAs, CIPs and other development initiatives. 2.2.4 Awareness of AO modules. 2.3 Behavioral 2.3.1 Leadership. 2.3.2 Punctuality. 2.3.3 Team Player. 2.3.4 Responsive.
