Job Summary

The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer leads a team of technicians and manages the electrical and instrumentation work, ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and instruments during the entire manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Define and direct the processes for installation, preparation, configuration, and check out of process instruments together with the Maintenance Manager. Evaluate the systems, products, components and applications by designing and conducting researches, configuring changes to meet production and customer requirements and applying knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering. Assure system and instrument quality by designing testing methods and system capabilities, verifying proper functioning before releasing them for production operation. Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer\'s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service.

Measure and record the electricity and gas consumption on a daily and monthly basis. Study and analyze the findings, suggesting improvements to the Maintenance Manager.

Review and enter the requests in SAP for new tools, equipment, and spare parts supplies as per the department budget and expenditure. Verify the quotation against the technical specifications and approve the purchase orders. Full coordination with store department upon receiving the spare parts

Manage the administration and record keeping for all equipment, machines, utilities and maintenance and repair works. Ensure the applicable standards (e.g. ISO) and processes are adhered to.

Schedule and conduct on-going and preventive maintenance to extend the life time of the equipment. Assist the Maintenance team when troubleshooting. Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs, modifications, evaluating new equipment and techniques and ensuring daily optimal process efficiency is maintained during peak production. And sees the maintenance plans are effectively carried out with quality of work with coordination of other department

Maintain good housekeeping, cleanliness and orderliness within the area of responsibility as per company standards.

Comply with safety requirements and encourages safe working practices.

Adhere to the QMS system, EHSMS of Abu Dhabi and ISO 9001 requirements
