Electrical Inspector

Role Description:

CONIN is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation practices on-site Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports and highlight any deviations Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project management teams Conduct quality control tests and ensure corrective actions for non-conformances Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection for construction or MEP projects Knowledge of electrical systems, installation standards, and quality control procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes Excellent reporting, communication, and coordination skills Familiarity with site safety regulations and best practices Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections on-site
