About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented

Electrical Inspector

to join our consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have

5-7 years of consultant-side experience

and proven expertise in

hotel projects

. This role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, compliance with UAE authority regulations, and the ability to ensure that all installations meet project and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspections of

electrical works

including LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and other building electrical services. Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards. Review and comment on contractors' submissions including

shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals

. Monitor electrical installations for quality, safety, and adherence to project schedule. Identify and report

non-conformances

; follow up with contractors on corrective and preventive measures. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and site challenges. Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare daily/weekly progress reports. Participate in site meetings, inspections, and technical discussions to support project delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Electrical Engineering

(mandatory).

Minimum 5-7 years of consultant experience

in electrical inspection within the UAE.

Hotel project experience is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems:

power distribution, ELV systems, lighting, fire alarm, grounding & earthing, cabling, and load schedules

. Familiarity with international standards such as

IEC, NFPA, BS, IEEE

and local authority codes (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DCD, Etisalat, DU, etc.). Excellent report writing, inspection, and quality control skills. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Previous experience with top consultancy firms. Exposure to

large-scale hotel, hospitality, or high-rise building projects

. Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately or within short notice.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
