Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented

Electrical Inspector

with a strong background in consultancy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that electrical systems and installations on construction projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect electrical installations and systems across project sites to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, etc.). Review and approve electrical drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Monitor site activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to approved plans. Conduct regular site visits and prepare detailed inspection reports. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and support approvals process. Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections and site activities. Identify and report any non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical inspection, with a strong focus on consultancy work. In-depth knowledge of international and local electrical codes and standards. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication and reporting skills. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Preferred:

Experience working with major projects in the UAE. Familiarity with authority procedures (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, etc.).
