Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Fit-Out Projects)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with proven experience in fit-out projects for 6-7 years experience, particularly in commercial, retail, and residential sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising all electrical systems related to interior fit-outs, ensuring compliance with local regulations (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, etc.) and project specifications also get DEWA final completion approval.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, review, and implement electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, low current systems) for interior fit-out projects.

Prepare load schedules, single line diagrams (SLDs), and material specifications.

Coordinate with MEP, civil, and interior teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities for design approvals and site inspections.

Ensure compliance with UAE electrical codes, DEWA standards, and Dubai Municipality regulations.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

Review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and BOQs.

Assist in procurement of electrical materials as per project requirements.

Provide technical support to the site team and resolve any engineering issues.

Strong knowledge of DEWA procedures, regulations, and approval processes.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, ETAP is a plus).

Solid understanding of local codes and standards.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm) is a plus.
