Summary: We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of experience in UAE with DEWA & FEWA Approval (mandatory) with good communication, technical and leadership skills to join our organization. The candidate should have a good knowledge of Electrical System and Physical layout, the principles and practices of related technical areas and should coordinate with other technical disciplines. Candidate should have exposure to UAE - Dubai , Abu Dhabi and other standards and local practices. Essential Job Duties: Duties & Responsibilities:

• Shall be able test independently electrical Equipment in substation levels up to 132kV.
• Testing of all substation components like CT, VT, Breakers (all types), Earth Switch, Isolators, Auxiliary Transformer, Power Transformer, scheme check, Low Voltage Distribution Board (AC & DC) individually.
• Testing of Transformer Stability & Sensitivity, Busbar Stability & Sensitivity and Overall Stability.
• Testing of Auxiliary relays, all types of backup protection relays.
• Testing of Main protection relays like distance protection, transformer protection, motor protection, cable differential protection.
• Knowledge about all types of latest test equipments.
• Must be familiar and be capable of testing latest numerical protection relays.
• Must be able to do DC & AC scheme checks independently.
• Preparation of substation single line drawings and calculations for fault calculations, grounding, lightning protection, transformer sizing, and AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations
• Detailed physical design of substation including equipment arrangement, grounding and lightning protection.
• Detail electrical design of substation including all logic diagrams, single/three lines diagrams, protection and controls schematics and connection wiring diagrams.
• Protective relay settings calculation in ETAP.
• Preparation of bill of material for all substation components
• Resolving site queries, supporting senior engineer\xe2\x80\x99s with inputs on attending site meetings.
• Maintaining complete project documentation with respect to substation design and construction, including all completion packages, as-built requirements and return data information.
• Making and maintaining appropriate commitments to project teams and coordinating design activities with multi-disciplined project team members.

Job Knowledge: Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work in a project or staff group. Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features and/or difficult coordination requirements. Is conversant with use of applicable layout codes governing Electrical systems, Equipment, and Physical layout. Coordinates engineering effort in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups. Perception of engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods. Skill in oral and written communication and writing technical reports. Qualification: 1. Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college program in Electrical Engineering - Mandatory. 2. Site experience - Mandatory. 3.
