Job Description
Preferred Qualification: Minimum of 5-15 years in relevant areas Preferred Experience: Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineer. Job Requirements: * Understand the process and working schedule of new building/villa to achieve the electrical work requirements from pipes installation, wiring, Disruption Panel installation with all related accessories, sockets, switches and all related electrical works. * Understand the process and working schedule of new building/villa to achieve the plumbing work requirements from water pipes installation, pressure testing, tank installation, tank cleaning, system flushing and disinfection, all (toilets, kitchens, garden) installation work and all related plumping/sanitary works. * Understand the process and working schedule of new building/villa to achieve the plumbing work requirements from water drainage pipes installation, manholes related works, seawage pipes installation and all related plumping/sanitary works. * Understand the process and working schedule of new building/villa to achieve the telecommunications work requirements from Fiber (Ex: CAT6) and TV wire installation and all related CCTV, internet and phone related works.
- Understand client requirements and accordingly draft a contract for the required scope of work with pricing, terms and condition.
- Study contract documents, specs and drawings for the activity or project.
- Plan electrical resources the activity or project
- Supervise preparations of electrical works shop drawings/coordinated drawings for all activities along with Engineering Architect and Site Construction Manager.
- Build the site Electrical team.
- Assist the team in preparing high-level schedule, detailed schedule and Quality Plan for the project.
- Plan MEP resources along with Planner.
- Obtain all necessary for MEP permits from authorities, required for execution of the project, in coordination with Liaison Architect.
- Prepare MPTS (Material Procurement Tracking Schedule) along with planner for MEP items.
- Interact and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Sub-contractors, Vendors and Suppliers pertaining to MEP works.
- Ensure that the work is executed as per approved procedure & comply with our specifications, standards and schedule.
- Monitor progress, ensure safety, quality and costs during project progress.
- Ensure preparation of MIS reports, labour reports, and progress reports as required for Clients / Consultants and for internal management.
- Ensure preparation of periodical invoices / bills for Clients along with QS.
- Check all bills and invoices of sub-contractors, suppliers, vendors.
- Ensure collection of all receivables.
- Prepare and review budget, CTC, for project.
- Obtain project MEP completion certificates
- Close the project & prepare lessons learnt.
- Demobilize the resources.
- Plan Defect Liability Period for main package.
- Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
- Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Liaising with clients and other contractors to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
- Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.
- Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.
- Technical and commercial evaluation for procurement of control systems and field instruments.
- Assisting with recruitment and training company employees
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- UAE Driver License
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- FEWA Approved Engineer will be preferred
