We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Engineer
to join our consultant supervision team in Qatar. The role focuses on overseeing electrical and ELV works forbuilding projects
(commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use, and institutional). The candidate will ensure that all works comply with approved designs, project specifications, QCS/QCDD/Kahramaa regulations, and international standardsKey Responsibilities:
Review and approve electrical
shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
for building systems. Supervise and monitor contractors' works on-site forpower distribution (MV/LV), lighting, fire alarm, emergency lighting, access control, CCTV, BMS, data/ICT, earthing, lightning protection, and other ELV systems
. Conductdaily site inspections
to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Raise and follow up onnon-conformance reports (NCRs)
and corrective actions. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to resolvesite conflicts and service coordination issues
. Witness and verifytesting & commissioning
of electrical and ELV systems. Ensure compliance withQatar Construction Specifications (QCS), QCDD, and Kahramaa
standards. Participate inprogress and technical meetings
with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Preparesupervision reports, snag lists, and final handover documentation
.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering
. Minimum10 years' experience
, including at least5 years in consultant supervision roles for building projects in Qatar/GCC
.UPDA/MMUP Grade A/B certification
(mandatory for consultant roles in Qatar).Additional Requirements:
Language:
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.Driving License:
Valid Qatari driving license preferred.Availability:
Must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.Job Type: Full-time
