Job Title: Electrical Draughtsman
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining electrical drawings, spec sheets and parts lists to a high standard of quality and in a timely manner
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off lists (BOM) for tender evaluations and checking to ensure scope is in accordance with Drawings produced and vice versa.
• Performing design reviews of existing solutions
• Creating / checking BOM\'s (Bills of Materials)
• Researching and selecting hardware (equipment and components)
• AutoCAD Drawings, reading schematics & creating loop terminations
• Prepare final documentation (As Built Drawings etc.)
• Cable calculations & lighting calculations.
• Performs fieldwork, site surveys, and facility investigations to collect architectural, engineering, and infrastructure data needed for the completion of drawings and details.
• Maintains utility drawings and provides this service to a variety of engineers and architects.
• Gathers supporting data and prepares detailed drawings which show dimensions and specifications of facility, utility, and related information.
• Meets designated schedule deadlines for delivering drawings.
• Works from sketches, notes, and other input material to produce computer generated drawings, overlays, graphs, and charts.
• Supporting the Project team with technical delivery using AutoCAD .
• All the drawings Prepared in time and as per the specifications and quality requirements.
• Shop drawings submission and get approval from client.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, industry standards, and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings and documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in electrical design
