Job Title: Mechanical Draughtsman & Electrical Draughtsman Company: Global BIM InfoTech Website: https://bim-infotech.com/ Location: UAE Job Type: Full-Time : Global BIM InfoTech is seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Draughtsman to join our team in the UAE. As a Mechanical & Electrical Draughtsman, you will be responsible for drafting and designing various Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, primarily in the hospitality and residential sectors. The ideal candidates should possess a strong background in MEP drafting and be well-versed in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D. Responsibilities: Drafting and Design: Produce high-quality MEP drawings, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, plumbing layouts, and electrical schematics, using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D. Shop Drawings: Create detailed shop drawings in accordance with project requirements and specifications. As-Built Drawings: Collaborate with project teams to generate accurate as-built drawings upon project completion. Mechanical Room Sections: Develop section details for mechanical service & Electrical rooms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project guidelines. Experience: Utilize your extensive experience in MEP drafting and design to contribute effectively to project development. Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Self-Motivation: Take initiative and demonstrate self-motivation in executing tasks and responsibilities. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP drafting, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in the UAE with a contracting company. Software Proficiency: Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with MEP systems and standards, especially in the context of hotels and residential buildings. Shop Drawings: Experience in creating shop drawings and as-built drawings. Detail-Oriented: Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy in drawings. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a project team. Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
