We're Hiring: Electrical BIM Coordinator
Location:
Abu Dhabi, UAEExperience:
8 years total (Minimum 5 years relevant experience, 3 years in UAE)Education:
Bachelor's in Electrical EngineeringPreferred Certification:
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP)Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update electrical BIM content, libraries, and project templates. Create and manage 3D electrical models using Revit or other BIM platforms in alignment with project requirements. Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage, ACC, or similar coordination tools. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines for accurate, conflict-free electrical layouts. Produce coordinated electrical drawings, cable tray routing, lighting layouts, and device placement. Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project specifications, and applicable standards. Support electrical modelers and engineers with technical input on electrical systems and model-related issues. Integrate design changes and updates into BIM models and documentation sets. Participate in coordination and design review meetings; track and resolve coordination issues.
