Job Description
We're Hiring: Electrical BIM Coordinator
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience: 6 years total (Minimum 3 years relevant experience, 2 years in UAE)
Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Certification: Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update electrical BIM content, libraries, and project templates.
- Create and manage 3D electrical models using Revit or other BIM platforms in alignment with project requirements.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage, ACC, or similar coordination tools.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines for accurate, conflict-free electrical layouts.
- Produce coordinated electrical drawings, cable tray routing, lighting layouts, and device placement.
- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Support electrical modelers and engineers with technical input on electrical systems and model-related issues.
- Integrate design changes and updates into BIM models and documentation sets.
- Participate in coordination and design review meetings; track and resolve coordination issues.
