Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in EVs, including wiring, batteries, and charging components. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for high-voltage systems. Install, repair, and maintain EV charging stations and power distribution systems. Test and monitor battery performance, replacing defective modules when necessary. Troubleshoot and update EV software, including firmware updates and system calibrations. Work with diagnostic tools to identify faults in electronic control units (ECUs) and vehicle management systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working with high-voltage systems. Collaborate with other technicians to provide high-quality EV servicing. Maintain tools, equipment, and safety protocols specific to high-voltage repairs.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in automotive electrical systems, EV technology, or electrical engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in the UAE working with EVs or automotive electrical systems. Experience with high-voltage electrical systems, battery management systems (BMS), and EV diagnostics. Knowledge of EV charging standards (CHAdeMO, CCS, Tesla Superchargers) and power electronics. Proficiency in software troubleshooting, firmware updates, and ECU programming for EVs. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and use diagnostic tools. Strong understanding of EV safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
