Position Title: Learning Technology Specialist Position Summary: The Learning Technology Specialist provides ongoing support by bringing core skills and knowledge of technology to support learning, knowledge management and collaboration to a variety of employees. Specifically, the Learning Technology Specialist brings experience with the design and development of multimedia, graphics, interactive websites, and online learning that are developed with the employee\'s needs and user experience in mind. The Learning Technology Specialist works with both internal and external clients to identify learning needs and based on those needs choose the best mix of interventions to achieve results. Qualifications, Abilities, and Education Requirements:
- A 4-year college degree or graduate degree in instructional design, e-learning, adult learning, educational technology, graphic design, multimedia production or other related degree or certificate programs and 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, or 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience.
- Superior client relations orientation.
- Excellent ability to inspire and motivate staff who may not be technologically proficient and to draw on experience with technology to bring imaginative perspectives to solving problems related to learning.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced knowledge of programs in the Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, InDesign, Edge Animate, or equivalent multimedia production and editing programs.
- Knowledge and skills in:
- Learning and content management system development and administration (e.g. Moodle, Drupal).
- Basic interactive website development (e.g. Wordpress, Dreamweaver).
- E-learning development using rapid authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate).
- Integration of social media into learning (e.g.Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Collaboration platforms and knowledge management processes, tools and approaches.
- Broad knowledge of technology trends and passion to continuously learn about and share technology tools and their appropriate application to learning.
- Demonstrated skills in graphic design, video production/editing, animation, and/or audio production to create learning, communications and knowledge management products.
- Experience in both public and private sectors.
- Prior experience working in international settings including developing countries.
- Experience with webinar development and implementation (using tools such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, and/or GoToMeeting).
- Training: 4 years (Preferred)
- LMS: 3 years (Preferred)
