Job Description
E&I Technician (CompEx Certified) -
Responsibilities:
Perform installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in hazardous and non-hazardous areas. Ensure compliance with ATEX / IECEx standards and safe working practices in explosive atmospheres. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on field instruments, control panels, and electrical systems. Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams. Support commissioning, loop checking, and system integration activities. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance records, calibration certificates, and compliance reports.
Requirements:
Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
CompEx Certification (Ex01-Ex04 or higher)
- mandatory. Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar hazardous area industries. Strong knowledge of hazardous area equipment, ATEX/IEC standards, and safe isolation procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in offshore/onshore environments.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
