E&i Technician – Compex Certified

Job Description
We are currently looking for a
qualified and experienced E&I Technician
to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with aCOMPEX certification
who are seeking immediate deployment. You will play a key role in ensuring quality and compliance in electrical and instrumentation systems across our projects.Roles & Responsibilities:
Ensure all
E&I works
comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Prepare and implementInspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
aligned with project requirements. Performin-process and final inspections
for electrical, instrumentation, and telecom installations. Inspect electrical equipment,cable trays
, andcable installations
(power, control, and communication). Witness testing procedures includingHV cable testing
,megger tests
,continuity tests
, andtorque tests.
Verify correct installation ofhazardous area equipment
in compliance with safety codes. Coordinate with site engineers, third-party inspectors, andclassification societies
on inspections and issue resolutions. Maintain complete inspection documentation,punch lists
, and reports.Requirements:
COMPEX certification
is mandatory. Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering. Strong understanding of QC inspection methods, standards, and project documentation. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and isometric drawings. Experience in site quality control, mechanical completion, and shipyard or similar industrial settings. Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ready to join immediately.
