Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

E&I Technician

with COMPEX certification to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The role requires hands-on experience with hazardous area installations, with a focus on maintaining the reliability and safety of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, including control systems, circuits, equipment, and panels.

COMPEX Compliance:

Work in hazardous areas and ensure electrical and instrumentation installations comply with COMPEX safety standards and regulations for explosive atmospheres.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, instrumentation systems, and control systems.

Calibration & Testing:

Perform calibration and testing of instrumentation and control devices, ensuring that they operate within the required parameters.

System Upgrades:

Assist in the commissioning and installation of new electrical and instrumentation systems or equipment and ensure the systems are fully operational.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ensure all work is documented in accordance with company procedures.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure that all work is carried out following industry health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure operational continuity and efficiency of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

Education:

Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical & Instrumentation).

COMPEX Certification:

Must have a valid COMPEX certification (or equivalent) for working in hazardous areas (Ex).
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED8,000.00 per month
