Role Overview

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is hiring an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector - ARAMCO Approved with SAP Number. This role requires strong offshore and structural project experience within the oil & gas, shipyard, or heavy industrial sectors.

The E&I Inspector will conduct quality inspections, verifications, and testing for electrical and instrumentation works to ensure compliance with ARAMCO standards, international codes (IEC/IEEE), and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with ARAMCO, project, and international standards during inspections. Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Perform in-process, final, and mechanical completion inspections (onshore & offshore). Inspect incoming materials and validate vendor certifications. Monitor installation of cable trays, panels, telecom systems, and field instruments. Witness electrical testing: HV cable tests, insulation resistance (IR), earth continuity, torque checks. Conduct EX-certified equipment inspections and tubing/leak testing. Interpret technical drawings: P&IDs, SLDs, GADs, loop and termination diagrams. Utilize test equipment (multimeter, OTDR, insulation tester, etc.). Record findings, issue NCRs, and track punch list closures. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams for issue resolution. Maintain inspection records and ensure timely submission of reports. Promote HSE compliance and enforce the "Stop Work" safety policy.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum 5 years of inspection experience in offshore / oil & gas / shipyard / EPC projects. ARAMCO Approved with a valid SAP Number (mandatory). Strong knowledge of electrical & instrumentation codes and standards. Skilled in interpreting P&IDs, SLDs, and loop diagrams. Experience in mechanical completion systems & documentation. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and in diverse environments. * Available for immediate mobilization to the UAE.
