Role Overview:



Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an ARAMCO-approved E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Inspector with offshore and structural experience to join our growing team. Candidates must hold a valid SAP number and be ready for immediate deployment in the UAE.



The E&I Inspector will perform inspections, verifications, and documentation of electrical and instrumentation works to ensure compliance with project specs, international standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include material and installation inspections, testing (e.g., HV cable, IR, continuity, torque checks), EX compliance checks, and coordination with clients, third parties, and internal teams.



Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to all departmental procedures, safety protocols, and quality/environmental standards.

Follow information security protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive data and intellectual property.

Review and prepare ITPs in accordance with project and regulatory specifications.

Perform in-process, final, and area completion inspections on-board and in workshops.

Inspect material deliveries and verify certifications for electrical and instrumentation components.

Monitor installation of cable trays, electrical panels, instruments, and telecom equipment.

Witness testing (HV cable, Megger, earth continuity, torque checks).

Verify EX equipment compliance and perform tubing/leak tests.

Interpret drawings (P&IDs, SLDs, GADs, loop/termination diagrams).

Use testing tools (multimeter, OTDR, insulation tester, etc.).

Identify/document non-conformities and track punch list closures.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Maintain inspection records, issue NCRs, and enforce corrective actions.

Support HSE initiatives and adhere to "Stop Work" safety policy.








Requirements




Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of relevant inspection experience.

ARAMCO Approved with valid SAP Number.

Experience in ship repair/new build or oil & gas.

Can join immediately upon selection and willing to relocate to UAE.

Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation standards and testing.

Skilled in reading technical drawings (P&ID, SLD, loop diagrams).

Experience in shipyard, offshore, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.

Familiar with Mechanical Completion systems and documentation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
