Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and responsible EHS & Hygiene Officer to join our team. As an EHS & Hygiene Officer at our company, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing a culture of safety within our organization.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations.
- Educate and oversee colleagues on health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain safety training documentation, including safety training, staff meetings, and safety audits.
- Maintain and update Food Safety systems, Food Safety SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and processes.
- Monitor personnel and workspace.
- Always ensure the company is prepared to submit all the relevant health and safety documents.
- Encourage and promote the use of safer work equipment, materials and supplies.
- Track the number of incidents and produce reports.
- Monitor exposure to certain hazardous chemicals.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as ADAFSA, ADFCA, OSHAD, DCT & HACCP and other local authorities.
- Take over any other tasks and special projects which arise in the course of business.
