Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, is looking for an efficient and team-oriented Assistant Chief Steward to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn is the first of its brand in Abu Dhabi, featuring 203 modern and stylish rooms and a wide variety of food & beverage outlets - Indulge in a variety of International flavors at the Silk Route Caf\xc3\xa9. For a lively night out, hit the Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge with amazing views of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Visit Hubbly Bubbly, our shisha caf\xc3\xa9, for a traditional Arabic experience under the stars. For Sushi lovers, SushiSan offers sushi as it should. Stock Burger Co. is a new casual dining concept defined by a perfect and always appealing pairing: premium burgers, craft brew, and all, in addition to meeting rooms and banqueting facilities.

The hotel is a kilometer from the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), close to the diplomatic enclave. The hotel\'s fitness facilities are on the top floor and offer great city views. Besides a well-equipped fitness room, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi offers a pool and three massage rooms.

Your day to day

You\'ll have ambition, talent, and some essential skills. We\'re seeking someone passionate about creating great guest experiences for this vital role.

As an Assistant Chief Steward, you will work closely with our Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards on condition and cleanliness of the hotel\'s Kitchen facilities and equipment. Your key responsibilities will include conducting daily briefings and handles administrative works and keeps up-dated files Stewarding matters; implementing training plans for the Stewarding employees; oversees the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment and premises; oversee the removal of waste; maintains a hygienic kitchen in compliance with local government laws & regulations on Food Safety and Hygiene. You will maintains high levels of personal hygiene for self and enforces hygiene standards for team.

What we need from you

The successful candidate must demonstrate that they can effectively work in a multi-tasking environment, be enthusiastic and positive, and have an excellent guest-handling manner. The successful candidate will also ideally have previous experience working in the hospitality industry. You must be flexible with working hours and be a team player. English communication skills are necessary, and experience in the bar will be an asset.

Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in a similar role with relevant school/college qualifications.
