JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides effective technical leadership in environmental health and safety, including pollution prevention, for an organization's operations.
  • Ensures compliance with environmental, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develops, implements, and enforces environmental, health and safety policies and procedures, including safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides consultation and training to employees on environmental, health, and safety matters.
  • Implements, monitors, and enforces environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops environmental, health, and safety plans, programs, and procedures.
  • Identifies, analyses, and resolves environmental, health, and safety problems.
  • Maintains and manages environmental, health, and safety databases and recordkeeping and prepares reports.
  • Oversees environmental, health, and safety audits and inspections.
