This role will be based in Dubai initially and will require relocation to Saudi Arabia which is the next strategic base for EFQM Middle East. Reporting into the Regional Director, this role will take over client activity and lead BD for the organisation in KSA eventually. Our client are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our business across the Middle East. The role is Dubai-based but will also cover other countries across the region such as KSA. We primarily work with the biggest business and public organisations and you will be expected to be an ambassador for our prestigious organisation, as well as experienced and accomplished at dealing with business executives.

You will be expected to work with our marketing team and using your experience and knowledge, you will create and close sales as well as develop and execute an effective sales strategy with the Regional Director.

You will have experience as a consultant or working in a consultancy or technology services company but your focus will be sales, growing revenue from existing clients, relationship management and new client acquisition.

You will be part of a small team in the region with huge potential to develop the role either as a BD Team Leader or country manager. We are a globally focused company that supports organisations across the world that want to improve organisational performance and drive excellence.

To be a successful candidate for the role:

• Overall professional work experience of 10 years minimum
• 3-5 years of specialist BD experience
• Ideal / desired work experience within the ecosytem of EFQM, DGEP, Dubai Quality Award, KACE
• Experience within management consulting / quality management is advantageous
• Willingness to work as an individual contributor / hunter for new business opportunities
