We are seeking a proactive
E-commerce Business Development Officer
to drive customer acquisition, vendor onboarding, and revenue growth for our owned e-commerce platforms:
CONSCA.WORLD
(B2B/B2C marketplace)
PCMO.WORLD
(specialized networking & LMS platform)
The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategies to attract more buyers and sellers, optimize platform performance, and establish partnerships to expand market reach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer & Vendor Acquisition
Develop and implement strategies to increase
buyer traffic
and
vendor sign-ups
on both platforms.
Identify and onboard high-quality
suppliers, wholesalers, and vendors
to expand product offerings.
Use
outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calling), partnerships, and incentives
to attract new users.
Run targeted
digital marketing campaigns
(social media, Google Ads, SEO) to drive platform engagement.
2. Platform Growth & Optimization
Analyze user behavior and sales data to
improve conversion rates
.
Optimize product listings, search functionality, and UI/UX for better buyer experience.
Implement
loyalty programs, referral incentives, and promotional campaigns
to boost retention.
3. Business Partnerships & Networking
Establish partnerships with
industry associations, trade groups, and influencers
to promote the platforms.
Negotiate
exclusive deals, bulk discounts, and vendor agreements
to enhance marketplace value.
Attend
trade shows, webinars, and networking events
to generate leads.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth
Set and achieve
monthly/quarterly targets
for customer acquisition and GMV (Gross Merchandise Value).
Develop
pricing strategies, bundle offers, and flash sales
to increase order volume.
Monitor competitor platforms and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
Execute campaigns across digital channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), and display advertising.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize ROI.
7. Content Creation & Branding:
Collaborate with designers and copywriters to create compelling content and promotional materials.
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
8. SEO & SEM:
Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic traffic.
Manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on platforms like Google Ads.
9. Social Media Management:
Plan, execute, and monitor social media marketing campaigns.
Build an active online community and drive engagement with the brand.
10. Email Marketing:
Develop email campaigns to promote new products, discounts, and other services.
Maintain and expand customer mailing lists to increase conversions.
11. Market Research:
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences.
12. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
Analyze customer journeys on the website and optimize user experience to boost sales.
Test and refine website features, such as checkout processes and product pages.
13. Order Management:
Oversee the sales process, including order placements, tracking, and fulfillment in coordination with the operations team.
14. CRM Management:
Manage customer relationships through tools like CRM software.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Analytical & Reporting Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis:
Analyze website traffic, sales data, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and sales dashboards.
Provide actionable insights based on data to improve performance.
2. KPI Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, cart abandonment rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
3. Reporting:
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
Advanced certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, or Data Analytics are a plus
.
Professional Experience:
2-5 years of experience in B2B e-commerce, wholesale marketplaces, or multi-vendor platforms. or related roles.
Proven success in customer acquisition, vendor onboarding, or marketplace scaling
3. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
Familiarity with CRM and email marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creativity with a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Customer Growth: Increase in registered buyers & active users.
Vendor Expansion: Number of new sellers onboarded monthly.
