Role Overview



The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients for our accounting and taxation services. This role involves proactively reaching out to businesses, building relationships, and pitching our expertise to meet their financial needs. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a knack for sales and a passion for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Generation

: Identify and research potential clients (SMEs, startups, and corporations) globally who require accounting and taxation services.

Outreach and Pitching

: Contact businesses via cold calls, emails, and networking events to pitch Gallant and Toole's services.

Client Relationship Management

: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.

Sales Strategy

: Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Market Research

: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to tailor pitches effectively.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the accounting and taxation teams to ensure client requirements are met and services are delivered seamlessly.

Reporting

: Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.

Qualifications and Skills



Experience

: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in accounting, taxation, or financial services.

Communication

: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pitch complex services clearly and persuasively.

Networking

: Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with decision-makers.

Sales Acumen

: Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Industry Knowledge

: Basic understanding of accounting and taxation services is a plus (training will be provided).

Tech Savvy

: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Languages

: Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, or Mandarin) are a plus for global outreach.
