Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Experience with secure and reliable networks and network management
- Strong system engineering skills with an emphasis on software-intensive systems and system -of-systems integration
- Knowledgeable in highly reliable, geographically dispersed network architecture and network management tools, and network devices
- Knowledgeable in COTS hardware, processors, memory, virualization, RHEL and Winows operaatin systems
- Experience with VOIP systems, preferably Avaya and Quintron
- Familiarity with Strategy and Air Defense Operations
- Familiarity with how national air defense is planned and executed
- Ability to manage a dynamic and flexible work schedule
- Ability to perform tasks at remote sites, and with minimal to no supervision
