Job Title: Dubai Municipality Approved Site Engineer (2-3 Years' Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Site Engineer with 2-3 years of UAE site experience to assist in the supervision of construction activities. The candidate must hold a valid DM Engineer Card and be familiar with site procedures, local authority requirements, and basic project documentation. This role is ideal for a junior engineer looking to grow within a professional construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily site works and ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure site progress aligns with the construction schedule. Assist in the preparation and submission of Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Inspection Requests (IRs), RFIs, and other site documentation. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and project-specific authority requirements. Participate in site inspections with the consultant and DM inspectors. Monitor proper usage of materials and ensure workmanship meets quality standards. Maintain daily site logs, work progress reports, and attendance records. Support the site team in implementing HSE policies and reporting any safety violations. Attend technical meetings, site coordination discussions, and toolbox talks. Report issues, delays, or non-conformances to the Project Engineer or Site Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Must hold a valid Dubai Municipality Engineer Card (mandatory). 2-3 years of site experience in the UAE construction sector. Familiarity with DM systems and procedures, including permit applications and inspection protocols. Basic knowledge of UAE building codes and construction practices. Ability to read and understand civil and architectural drawings. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (Primavera/MS Project is a plus). Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. UAE driving license is an advantage.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:

UAE Society of Engineers Membership. Basic safety training or HSE certification (e.g., OSHA/NEBOSH). Knowledge of DM e-permitting and inspection booking systems.
