Position Title: DS Senior SMP Technician

Department & Section: SMP

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves) Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)

I.T.I./ Diploma in Mechanical Fitter trade.
Technical knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance of SMP equipments.

Knowledge & Skill of Trouble Shooting of SMP Equipments.

Understanding of engineering drawings

Knowledge of rigging and slinging

Basic computer literacy

Spoken English

Professional Experience (Must haves)

Total years of experience 5-6 years:

5 Years as a Technician/ Fitter in a Steel Plant

2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Mechanical maintenance of Steel Plant as a Sr. Technician

Key Performance Indicators

Implement Health, Safety and Environment programs to attain Zero accidents.

Ensure the plant availability by performing PM, CM & breakdown activities within the stipulated time.

Maximize spares utilization to maintain the OPEX expenditures within the limits set by the department.

Ensure that Co. established procedures & work instructions are practiced during job performance.

Initiate Technical or Safety innovations to obtain a better equipment performance or a safer working environment as per department plan.
