5. Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to grow the firm's market share in both dry bulk and tanker sectors. Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for specialization. Attend industry conferences and networking events to expand professional contacts.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience as a Ship Broker, preferably with exposure to both dry bulk and tanker markets. In-depth knowledge of international shipping, maritime law, and commercial aspects of vessel operations. Strong understanding of various charter party forms. Existing network of industry contacts is highly advantageous.
