Job Description
Looking for a new role in Dubai? This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a newly established small team in a world class company, which is part of a large European group. If you are an Dry Bulk Vessel Operator with 4-5 years? work experience, this role may be for you.
Responsibilities include:
- To be in charge for all operational matters on the assigned vessels.
- Voyage planning (calculating fuel consumption / cargo intake / port rotation / optimal sea route)
- Sending agency appointments to the designated agents in the various ports
- Coordinating cargo intake & bunker requirements together with captain of the ship
- Issuing freight invoices / paying & collecting hire and all voyage related expenses
- Laytime calculations and negotiation to close the file.
- Claims handling in coordination with legal department and P&I club
- Checking finalized voyages and explaining profits & losses in detail
