About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented technician to join our UAV (drone) operations team. The role involves assembling drone systems, performing maintenance, and resolving technical issues to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You will also collaborate with engineers and pilots on new builds and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and integrate UAV structures, propulsion systems, wiring, and onboard electronics. Perform regular inspections, tune-ups, and upgrades. Identify and repair faults in mechanical and electronic systems. Configure flight controllers, GPS, sensors, and communication devices. Assist in testing prototypes and supporting flight trials. Maintain records of servicing, parts replacement, and performance reports. Ensure workshop tools, parts, and equipment are well managed. Follow all safety and operational procedures during lab and field work.

Requirements:

Practical experience in UAV/drone assembly, repair, or electronics. Familiarity with platforms such as Pixhawk, Ardupilot, or DJI. Skilled in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working in both indoor workshop and outdoor test settings.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

Exposure to R&D drone projects. Knowledge of telemetry and advanced payload systems. Interest in robotics, aviation, or mechatronics.
