Main Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site and technical focal point, ensuring safe, professional work in compliance with QA/QC and HSEQ standards. Carry out inspection, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning of equipment while accurately interpreting engineering documentation and maintaining clear records. Support project delivery through technical input, parts lists, work scopes, and procedure development. Work both onshore and offshore, maintain a clean and compliant workshop, liaise with engineering teams, and provide leadership through mentoring, training, and continuous improvement to achieve minimal downtime and right-first-time delivery.
Skills / Qualifications:
Over 10 years' experience in drilling equipment inspection and overhaul within an API-accredited environment, supported by a diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Petroleum, or a related engineering discipline.Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across site and workshop operations, with strong technical knowledge of major drilling equipment and mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experienced in developing and reviewing JSAs, risk assessments, and procedures, with familiarity in rig shipyard SPS, reactivation, and shutdown projects. Highly competent in parts identification, documentation, technical reporting, and application of industry standards (API, ASNT, ASME), supported by strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
HSEQ Responsibilities and General Duties:
Ensure full compliance with the Company's HSEQ Policy, Integrated Management System, and all applicable health and safety legislation.Actively contribute to continuous improvement of HSEQ performance, promptly report incidents, near misses, and potential issues, and follow all company procedures and emergency response arrangements.Take responsibility for health and safety in the workplace and carry out additional duties as required, provided they are within individual competence and capability.
