to support our MEP design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate plumbing drawings and layouts for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will work closely with design engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed plumbing drawings, including water supply, drainage, venting, and gas piping systems.
Develop coordinated MEP drawings using
AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Interpret design engineer sketches, specifications, and mark-ups to create shop and construction drawings.
Assist in generating as-built drawings after project completion.
Coordinate plumbing drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC, and electrical layouts.
Maintain and organize drawing files in accordance with company standards.
Make revisions to drawings as requested by engineers or project managers.
Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and company procedures.
Participate in project coordination meetings when necessary.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Drafting
or a related field.
2-5 years of proven experience in plumbing drafting within UAE or Gulf region.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
; experience with
Revit MEP
is a strong advantage.
Good understanding of plumbing systems and relevant codes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
