Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman

to develop technical drawings and layouts for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting, in line with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction or MEP contracting sector and be proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Assist mechanical engineers in the development and revision of mechanical designs. Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to ensure clash-free and integrated designs. Maintain and update drawing records and revision histories. Revise existing drawings based on design feedback and site conditions. Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal procedures. Participate in coordination meetings and site visits as needed. Support quantity take-offs and material estimation based on drawings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 2-5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the MEP or construction industry. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage. Sound understanding of MEP systems and layout practices. High attention to detail and drawing accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
