to join our MEP design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate HVAC drawings and layouts for a variety of building types including commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. You will work closely with HVAC design engineers and project stakeholders to develop coordinated and code-compliant mechanical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare HVAC layout drawings including ductwork, piping, ventilation, and equipment placement using
AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
Translate engineers' sketches, design concepts, and specifications into accurate shop and construction drawings.
Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Make revisions and updates to HVAC drawings based on feedback and markups.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA and other UAE building codes), and company drafting procedures.
Support project teams during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Maintain organized records of drawings, documents, and revisions.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Drafting or a related discipline.
2-5 years of proven experience in HVAC drafting within UAE or gulf region.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; experience with
Revit MEP
and
Navisworks
is an added advantage.
Good understanding of HVAC systems including ductwork, chilled water, VRF, ventilation, etc.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
