Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman Engineer proficient in AutoCAD with strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings and layouts, supporting MEP engineering teams in the design and documentation of building services for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Develop coordination drawings integrating MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback and site changes.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local codes.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other draftsmen to resolve design conflicts.
Maintain organized drawing documentation and version control.
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar BIM tools is a plus.
Sound understanding of MEP systems and their integration within building designs.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
