Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa offers easy access to Kuwait's Central Business District, airport and major attractions. The beachfront resort features 316 rooms and suites, 80 residential suites and 12 villas, seven restaurants, cafés and lounges, a Talise Spa, 200-metre private beach, two swimming pools and a children's play area. Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom.

About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Door Attendant to join Front Office department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.

To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.

To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times..

To comply with local legislation as required.

To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel.

To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.

To attend training and meetings as and when required.

To strive to please the guest and sell the in-house services.

To ensure that the hotel's driveway and main entrance and car-park are clean and

Free of traffic at all times.

To be aware of all activities both in the hotel (Food and Beverage functions, restaurants, meeting rooms) and in the city.

To call for a taxi for the guest upon request.

To offer various information to guest regarding the hotel services, facilities as well as general information.

To respond to any other changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company and or the hotel.

To unload luggage from the cars for arriving guests, following health and safety manual handling guidelines.

To load cars for departing guests, ensuring a polite manner and courteous farewell.

To direct guests to the check-in area. About You:

In order to be considered for this position, you must have at least 1 year experience in a similar position or completed cross training. Previous concierge/guest relations experience in hospitality industry is desirable. At least High school graduate or equivalent with high level of verbal and written English. Opera experience is an added advantage
