Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and streamline document management processes for construction projects.

Job Summary

The Document Controller will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of project documentation. This includes organizing, tracking, and ensuring proper storage of all documents related to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the flow of project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence, ensuring all are accurately filed and easily retrievable. Ensure compliance with document control processes and industry standards. Develop and maintain project document registers to track all project documents, including revisions and updates. Ensure that all incoming and outgoing documents are distributed promptly to relevant stakeholders (clients, contractors, internal teams). Review and verify documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Coordinate the processing of documents from subcontractors, clients, and project teams, ensuring timely submission and approval. Track document revisions and maintain records of document versions, ensuring that only the most up-to-date documents are in use on-site. Maintain a centralized filing system, both physical and electronic, to organize project documentation. Provide administrative support for project teams by preparing reports, organizing meetings, and maintaining project schedules. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive project information

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience (minimum of 05 years) as a Document Controller, in the construction industry. Familiarity with construction documents such as drawings, specifications, RFIs, contracts, and submittals. Proficiency in document management software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred and desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of project management processes and document control procedures in the construction industry.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
