Accountabilities to General medicine Business Unit Sr Manager
Maximizes revenue and market share in the region by driving sales activity and providing leadership to the field force , Design & Execute Sales force/Customer Engagement strategy, Leading sales team and coaching team members and , effectively work in the matrix and take leadership for customer centricity strategies with relevant internal stakeholders
Mininum Requirements
>3 years track-record of success in pharmaceutical selling
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
Very good working knowledge of English, both in oral and written communication
Responsibilities/Key tasks
Builds a high performing sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and effectively on-boarding new hires
Coaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimize individual and team engagement
Translates Amgen affiliate and brand strategy into regional plans (to deliver successful treatments)
Analyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for action (including healthcare developments like )
Keeps business unit team informed of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and development
Ensures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans (Plan Of Actions) with team members
Manages approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial control
Plans, allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.
Tracks progress of marketing messages and programs
Monitors implementation of plan of actions throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance and quality parameters
