Our client is a prominent Dubai-based retail distributor specializing in the well-being sector. Renowned for its commitment to excellence, the company has established itself as a key player by partnering with leading brands to provide a diverse range of health and beauty products.

The company distinguishes itself by offering a 360-degree, holistic approach to health and beauty. This involves comprehensive support for overall well-being through a range of products, including nutrition, skin and body care, vitamins & supplements, and more.

With 600 dedicated employees, our client manages a diverse portfolio that includes four concept brands. Each brand is carefully curated to address specific aspects of well-being, providing customers with a varied and comprehensive selection of products. This company boasts an extensive retail network with 98 stores strategically located across the region. This widespread presence ensures accessibility for customers, allowing them to experience and purchase the latest and finest products in the health and beauty industry.

As the Distribution Director, the role holder will be responsible for identifying and working directly with wholesale partners, nurturing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities in order to maximize sales and achieve agreed revenue targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the B2B channel, promoting the Distribution product range to new and existing customers, both locally and internationally.
  • Lead account development and relationship management activities to maximize Distribution sales in alignment with established business plans.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and drive the team to achieve set revenue targets in line with Division and Group requirements.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term business plans to increase market share and profitability, actively managing the financial performance of the Distribution Vertical.
  • Construct and present tailored proposals to prospective clients based on their objectives, needs, and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities regarding regulatory affairs topics and product registration and distribution within the health portfolio.
  • Define goals and key performance indicators for each team member, ensuring effective implementation of the performance management process.
  • Develop talent within the team through guidance, mentoring, and coaching to achieve defined goals.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and coaching in the Department by providing ongoing feedback, identifying development needs, and coaching employees on areas of improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a relevant field (Master\'s degree in Business Administration preferred).
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role.
  • Previous experience handling End to End Distribution Activities in Skincare, Fitness & Nutrition
  • Product knowledge, regulatory knowledge, analytical skills, business acumen, forecasting ability, and store operations metrics/numeric reporting knowledge.
