, Permanent Position: Dispatcher We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and process transportation requests from clients, both internal and external - Assign drivers and vehicles to transport goods and materials according to delivery schedules and customer requirements - Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using GPS systems and communicate updates to clients and drivers - Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods - Respond to any issues or delays that may arise during transportation and find solutions to minimize disruptions - Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update the system with relevant information - Communicate with clients to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or complaints - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times - Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or transportation is a plus - 2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Proficiency in using GPS systems and dispatch software - Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures - Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays - Fluent in English; knowledge of Tagalog, Bengali, or Sinkala is an advantage
