You will partner closely with the local Middle East and European leadership teams to help drive key existing and future client projects.
The role requires a strong background in client technology consulting, solution architecture, software development, client engagement and stakeholder management resulting in new wins and increased footprint in strategic accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a hands-on Senior Technology Leader, you will drive the Solution Architecture and Technology Consulting Practice as part of our Global Delivery Organisation in UAE
- Lead innovation, manage the success of large-scale multi-industry sector client projects whilst overseeing the implementation of architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"
- Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrating strong credibility up to CxO level within EPAM and our clients
- Take an active role in aligning closely with EPAM\xe2\x80\x99s wider leadership teams to help shape the business/technology/strategic direction and footprint across client projects with varying degrees of maturity
- Participate in the full cycle of pre-sales/RFP activities to help generate and identify new business opportunities
- Provide consulting services covering areas such as architectural review, audit, architectural road-mapping and technical governance across multiple projects
- Formulate and present technology business cases across architecture, technology, strategy, IT organisational change management
- Share network and knowledge both within the local/global Technology Consulting and Solution Architecture Practice
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent Arabic speaker living in Dubai or happy to relocate here
- A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or similar or relevant work experience
- Industry visionary, avid technologist at heart and a senior proven leader who can drive a Solution Architecture/Technology Consultancy capability in a large consulting organisation
- Expertise in enterprise architecture design and the ability to delve into low-level technical details when needed
- Good industry experience, ideally in one or two core industry sectors such as Energy, Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Telecoms, Life Sciences, Government, Manufacturing etc with excellent understanding of major functional capabilities and common platform solutions across those sectors
- Proven experience acting as a hands-on Senior/Lead/Chief Architect, Director of Technology Consulting/Architecture or CTO with a strong foundation in software engineering (e.g. Java, .Net), platform delivery, architecture design, digital transformation and partnering with teams up to CxO level
- Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Strong experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects teams and delivering technology streams for large scale complex transformation projects whilst being able to help clients make the right technology choices for the ultimate success of their business
- Excellent client-facing / onsite experience with the ability to influence and guide senior management on technical solutions combined with a consultative, problem solving approach
- Able to think outside the box, drive end-to-end initiatives and engagements, understand the complexity and relative timeframes of creating a roadmap for replacing a core capability in a global multinational organisation
- Pre-sales experience with the ability to act in an advisory capacity to senior level client management whilst executing and leading on rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentations
- Well-versed in development of Enterprise and Solution Architecture, including governance, business drivers, technology and change management
- Deep understanding of architecture qualities such as: security, scalability, resiliency and availability in high performance low latency systems
- Any recognitions from industry bodies with regards to relevant industry domain, technology, or delivery frameworks and methodologies (e.g. IASA Certified IT Architect, Open Group Certified Architect etc)
